A good friend of mine always plans the best Halloween family costumes. This year's theme was Dr Suess. She was The Cat in the Hat, her husband was the goldfish and her 2 little boys were, of course, Thing 1 and Thing 2. Adorable! I was also happy to use my newfound knowledge in curving text with my embroidery design program. It didn't hurt that she compensated my time with a Starbucks gift card, either. It's a win-win.
