Hooded Towels

One of my favorite baby gifts to give away is the hooded towel. I use a fluffy, full-sized towel and add a hood, some ribbon embellishment and a name to make a great baby gift that can be used for a long time. I made each of my girls a hooded towel when they were babies and they can all still use theirs (my oldest is 8 years old!). The cute pink polka-dot one is for a little girl's 4th birthday. She has a summer birthday and spends a lot of time at the pool, so I hope she gets a lot of use out of it there. A friend asked me to make one for her second little boy, after her older one enjoyed his hooded towel so much. I used a Western flair for his with a khaki towel and bandana ribbon. Hope you like it, Tate!
