We're back from a blessed and food-filled few days with my family celebrating Thanksgiving. I have a couple of last turkey shirts to post before they fly away until next year. These are for some sweet sisters:
And this one was for my own little turkey:
Isn't she adorable? The pony tails were her idea and I know their days are numbered, so I happily obliged her.
This is our family's version of the thankful posts you see on Facebook leading up to Thanksgiving Day. We write the things we're thankful for on fake leaves and hang them on the tree branches (kind of a reverse autumn, I guess).
They range from things of true significance and eternal value...
to the trivial.
Gentry added this one after a particularly chilly shower she had to take when the hot water got used up.
Ava was grateful for sunrises, but I honestly can't think of the last time she witnessed one (if ever). She's my sleepyhead.
Here's our little family on Thanksgiving Day. We are so very blessed. Gentry is getting dangerously close to catching up to me, and I was wearing heels! Also, apparently Ava is too mature for Matilda Jane anymore.
I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. I'm so thankful for all of you too, who make this little online boutique a reality, and am excited about the Christmas items I have to show you. I'm prepping for a show on Tuesday so that's all I can think about right now, but I will be back later this week with a ton of new products to display. I will have a short order window before I close for the holidays, so you'll have to be fast!
