Scripture Frames
These custom scripture frames make great baby shower gifts, especially if the baby's name is already known. It really touches a new mom's heart to see John 3:16 personalized to include her baby's name. For those name secret-keepers, there are several ways to still make it personal using a favorite verse or nursery rhyme phrase.

Initial Onesies
After a very relaxing, yet productive spring break, I'm ready to start sewing again. I did get to sleep in, make some fun memories with my girls, paint one of the bedrooms (due to a color controversy we are on hold on the other one) and complete some projects for me. We're doing a complete makeover in my 2 older girls' rooms, so if I get brave, I'll post the "after" pictures when they're finished.
The weather is perfect today, and I hope to take some product pictures outdoors and post them later this afternoon.

A couple of initial onesies with the name monogrammed on the back. These are 0-3 month and are tiny! I could barely fit the names across them. I know my kids were this little once, but I just can't believe it.

Taking a Break for Spring
I won't be accepting orders during the week of March 15th through 21st. I'll be enjoying Spring Break with my family by sleeping late, planning some fun outings, painting bedrooms, and hopefully getting some sewing projects completed for myself (listed in order of decreasing likelihood). I'm still working on existing orders, so if I've emailed or spoken to you in person, you can still expect your item soon. Please feel free to place an order during this time, but I won't reply to emails until March 22nd. Happy Spring!
Brother Pillows
This mom requested a couple of pillows for her 2 boys. Their room has some brown, gold, maroon, green and blue, so I pulled out my trusty argyle and polka dots. They are Texas Aggie fans, so if you look closely, you can see the A&M logo in one of Jackson's letters. His are slightly smaller than Noah's so his name would fit, but you really can't tell. I like the contrast of the long vs. short name, and polka dot vs. pattern.
Pink and Brown Bibs
The only request this customer had for these bibs were for them to be pink and brown. I discovered I have a ton of fabrics with those colors in my stash and had a hard time choosing which ones to use. I like the geometric print of both of these. The straight lines make it so much easier to sew a nice even square!

Blue-Eyed Baby
Here's another sweet Bit of Whimsy baby doll, waiting to meet her new playmate. Every time I make one of these little dolls, one of my girls says, "Is that one for me?" They have been waiting patiently for so long for their own little custom-made doll (they've already chosen the features and fabrics), but I just can't seem to find the time to make them. It's the source of a lot of mommy guilt for me.
